David de Groot David de Groot Nicely done :) Autostitch definitely makes this sort of thing a lot easier than doing it by hand. Posted: March 14 2007
Aloysious A Gruntpuddock Aloysious A Gruntpuddock How did you manage to get 10 shots with the light changing so rapidly? Nice pano. Posted: May 18 2007
tuxcomputers tuxcomputers I setup my camera on a tripod in manual, including white balance, and then fired away, each time it took about 1-2 seconds to shoot the photo, take note of what was on the edge then line up the next shot with that feature on the opposite edge. The tripod was adjusted in such a way that it was loose enough so I could move it smoothly but tight enough it didn't move when I let go. That was the longest part of the whole process. BTW We have changed to 12 hour shifts and the sun has not risen before I have to work and it is down before I knock off. No more photos like this for probably 6 months. Posted: May 18 2007
