Waiting

I have found most old people have alot of patience. They have either given up or they just have had a lot of practice.I went to Mitchelton today as part of the Brisbane Grid Project, I thought I would go down to the shops in Blackwood St near the station, I had just parked the car. As I got out I saw this lady sitting there and knew it would make a good shot. That's the thing about street photography. In some ways it is easier, every single person is a potential subject. In other ways it is harder, you can't direct them, there is no second chance, once her husband arrives to pick her up and she stands up, that's it, session over buddy, no more photos for you. Waiting

tuxcomputers tuxcomputers I had another thought, you know how when you were young it took soooooo long between one Christmas and the next, now getting older you are thinking "It's the end of May, holy crap!!! almost half a year is gone already, what happened here, who stole it???" Well old people probably take it slow because they know how fast time slips away from you. BTW I just noticed two cigarette butts on the ground and they bother me, I am going to clone them out.
